Over The Side

Over the side process heaters occupy little workspace, require no tank penetrations, and are easily withdrawn for servicing and replacement in industrial heating suppliers. They are immersed within a tank to evenly distribute heat in a variety of applications including acid or alkali solutions.

PTFE - Teflon

Inert to most aqueous acid, alkaline, anodizing and pickling solutions up to 212°F. The heavy wall fluoropolymer PTFE heaters teflon covered element reduces permeation and eliminates the need for gas purge systems and circulation.

Bottom or L Shaped

L-shaped or Bottom Immersion Heaters are used in higher temperature (above 150F) which have increased evaporation rates. L shape Heaters offer better heat distribution throughout the plating tank due to the natural buoyancy of fluids and less chance of exposure to air.

IHS circulation heaters are sold consisting of a screwplug or flanged underwater heater mounted in a thermally insulated heating chamber for efficient heating of a flowing medium by inline or side-arm operation. Drum Heaters, Bolt Heater, Cartridge Heater, Tubular Heater and Thermocouple sensors can be provided to connect to most any controller. Select from many terminal enclosures, sheath and vessel materials, flanged connections, and controls.
